Herring house Trust had a fairly open brief on the commission. The requirements were to keep the identity, colour scheme and the existing sitemap. The existing site was tired and dated and did not conform to modern day website practices. Our task was to bring the content up to date and generate a new layout which conformed to a responsive layout. We commissioned a photographer to produce a catalogue of imagery that were to be used across the site and future design requirements. These images needed to be fresh and modern whilst capturing the essence of the business and its sensitive nature.
We integrated a news facility to the CMS that allows the client to associate relevant news to a specific category which in this case is their schemes. n instagram account was setup for the client to allow them to publish imagery of their work on a social platform. This feed renders on the site allowing the client to keep the site updated on a regular basis. A bespoke CMS system allows the client to access the content of the site and edit copy and imagery in a simple to use interface.
It has been a pleasure to work with KR Design on the development or our Charity Website (Herring House Trust). Most importantly, Keith took time really understand the work that we do within the organisation and reflected this within our website. His knowledge and expertise made the project simple for us and his creativity meant that the finished project fitted exactly with our expectations. A highly recommended company.
